    The 2015 Children Fortnight addressed child marriage as one of the worst violations of child rights

    A series of activities were organized between the 1st and 23rd of June in Mozambique to celebrate the Children Fortnight (Quinzena da Crianca), that this year was dedicated to End Child Marriage awareness, in line with the main theme of the 25th anniversary of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, “Accelerating Our Collective Effort to end Child Marriage in Africa.”
